Janet has an extensive background in individual, corporate, foundation, events, major gifts, and planned giving fundraising. Her broad experience as a fundraising executive in a variety of industries has allowed her to develop a creative consulting practice regardless of the “use of funds” – capital, operating, or endowment. After completing her freshman year abroad at St. Andrew’s University in Scotland, Janet earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan. Her degree in Musical Theatre Performance comes in handy, as she trains and presents regularly in the fundraising field. Janet spends her free time working on her yoga practice, bicycling, staying in touch with what is happening at Philips Andover Academy (her high school alma mater), taking lots of pictures of the kids, and reading anything by Reynolds Price.
