In 2006, The Salvation Army, American Red Cross – Dallas Area Chapter, the Volunteer Center of North Texas, and the North Texas Food Bank began a collaborative project to improve disaster preparedness in North Texas. Clarkson Davis served as the initial facilitator and has since then helped raise more than $4 million toward the effort, and continues to serve as the Project Management Office today.
